This independant website provides information about all the branches of the Liberal Catholic Movement, but is not in any way associated with any of the governing bodies of the Liberal Catholic Church..

The term "Liberal" is generic. Some Catholic Churches and clergy use the words "Liberal Catholic" to describe their orientation. Such denomination doesn't necessarily mean that they belong to the Liberal Catholic Church.
Liberal Catholic Churches are those defined by the Liberal Catholic General Constitution, accepting the Liberal Catholic Code of Canons, Summary of the Doctrine, and deriving their Apostolic Succession from the Founders of the Liberal Catholic Church: the Rt. Rev.s James Ingall Wedgwood or Robert King.
