Created by decision of the 1988 General Episcopal Synod to support non-English speaking Liberal Catholic Congregations, as a parallel organization of Saint Alban Press [London - Ojai - Sidney]. When, in 2004, Saint Alban Press terminated all cooperation, Albanus began to publish works in English. It is today fully functional and independant. All workers are volunteers and rceive no compensation for their contribution.
